Abbot's Fireside Hotel  

Popularly known as the Smithies Arms containing the 13th and 14th century features, the Abbot's Fireside is a Tudor style hotel, built as an Inn in 1451. Surrounded by breathtaking countryside, the property is situated in the historic village of Elham, just south of Canterbury. The Abbot's Fireside, a 15th century country house style hotel offers six delightful bedrooms that are all named after the well known or local persons related to the history such as the Duke of Wellington and King Charles II.
Featuring a huge medieval fireplace, the in-house restaurant enjoys an excellent reputation for its cuisine and warm personality.
